THE CHALLENGE
Your family should plan to have a total of 24 meals together during the 8-week duration of the campaign. This averages out to be 3 meals per week, however, the total should be the focus. If you miss a meal one week, make up for it the next! Building meals into your weekly routine will allow your family to continue this practice after the campaign ends.
THE RULES
- Pledges are fulfilled based on the honor system. While we will not keep track of your family's progress toward the 24-meal goal, but you should!
- Family meals should be focused on fun, conversation, and connection.
- Leave the electronics behind! Family meals are most beneficial when they focus on meaningful conversation. Remove distractions like phones, tablets, TVs, and other devices by turning them off and putting them away. It's only a short time, you'll survive!
- Share more than just food. Divide the chores, cook together, split the tab, or whatever else works for you.
